The IUA Surety Committee was established in 2021 and exists to identify and discuss underwriting and claims issues considered to be of interest or concern to the surety market, with a particular focus on the UK market. The Committee acts a central forum to present members’ interests to regulatory and governmental bodies, and other organisations relevant to the sector. The maintenance and review of model wordings, clauses, and standard documentation also falls within the group’s activities.
