Over the last few years, the insurance industry has become all too familiar with the unpredictable nature of the cyber landscape – from a rise in attacks across the pandemic from criminals hoping to capitalise on our shift towards remote working, to the perseverance of large-scale ransomware threat groups despite rounds of sanctions.

But with their established Cyber Threat Analysis team, CFC has evolved their cyber knowledge to monitor potential vulnerabilities and even compromises across their customer base.

At this market briefing event, focusing on the experiences of the Cyber Threat Analysis Team at CFC, our guest speaker will explain the current issues that cyber is facing and discuss how CFC is tackling the steady rise in cybercrime. Kate will discuss the combination of technologies and professional partnerships involved in this process, and address the potential of threat intelligence’s influence in the industry on a wider scale.

Speaker:
Kate Grayson is a Cyber Threat Analyst at CFC, providing proactive threat monitoring services to thousands of clients. Kate works with CFC’s data science teams and a variety of threat intelligence providers to understand the causes of claims and discover ways to reduce the risk of a CFC client experiencing a claim, even intervening to prevent imminent ransomware attacks stemming from compromised devices. Prior to working as a Cyber Threat Analyst, Kate was on CFC's Incident Response team, helping clients through the crucial moments of discovering a cyber incident.
