IUA Surveys for CUOs and CCOs/Heads of Claims

Subject: This IUA survey requests senior underwriting and claims practitioners to share views on emerging risks, opportunities and market trends, and provide feedback on the IUA's underwriting and claims strategies.

The IUA Underwriting and Claims team is currently engaging with member company Chief Underwriting Officers (CUOs) and Chief Claims Officers (CCOs) to inform our strategic planning for 2025.
We are seeking input via two short surveys designed to capture views on underwriting and claims priorities, emerging risks, and opportunities for market collaboration.

Responses are requested by close of business, Monday 3rd November 2025.
Each survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and provides a valuable opportunity to:
•shape the IUA’s future workstreams and committee focus areas;
•provide feedback on our current strategy and operational delivery; and
•contribute to market thought leadership on systemic and emerging risks.
Who should respond? We encourage participation from:
•Individuals holding CUO or CCO/Heads of Claims titles or equivalent roles.
•Organisations with multiple CUO or CCO roles - each relevant individual is welcome to respond;
Why your input matters? This engagement enables us to:
•identify key strategic issues and member priorities.
•understand the views of senior underwriting and claims practitioners on key cross-class matters.
•refine our underwriting and claims strategy to meet evolving market challenges.
Following the completion of the survey process, we will share a summary of responses.
