Sustainability poses a pervasive challenge for all financial services firms, with a number of unique risks and opportunities arising for the insurance industry. A key element of this is the increased measurement of and regulatory expectations around environmental, social and governance (‘ESG’) factors, required by insurers.

At this market briefing, our guest speakers will highlight the growing ESG reporting requirements  and how insurers across the market are transforming to meet these demands.
During this presentation, our speakers will include the following topics:

- An overview of the ESG insurance regulatory roadmap including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Taxonomy.
- Detail on insurance specific ESG challenges on both the underwriting and asset side, such insured emissions and emissions related to investments.
- How insurers are transforming to meet these requirements across controls, assurance, operating models, technology and data.

There will be ample opportunity for delegates to ask questions to our panel.
