EU/UK 2009/788/CFSP (Oct 2009) imposes arms embargo, travel ban on designated individuals, extended to freezing of funds, ban on certain exports & a ban on provision of certain services. Measures amended to allow sale of non-lethal military equipment for humanitarian use. Further derogations on equipment & services noted in Reg 1295/2011 (Dec 2011) and via Council Decision 2012/665/CFSP on 26 Oct 2012 (applicable to 27 Oct 2015 - 2014/728/CFSP). Council Reg 49/2013 (22 Jan 2013) amendment on exceptions to the restrictions on equipment for internal repression & certain services. EU 2014/213/CFSP lifts arms embargo effective 14 Apr 2014. Council Decision (CFSP) 2017/1934 extends restrictive measures until 27 Oct 2018. CFSP 2018/1611 extends restrictive measures until 27 Oct 2019.
