The IUA's Non-Marine Technical Committee operates as an umbrella group for all the association's committees and working parties dealing with underwriting, claims and technical issues for different classes of non-marine business. Reporting to the NMTC are the Banks Underwriting Group, casualty Treaty Group, CLASS Application User Group, Clauses Sub-Committee, Contingency Working Party, Digital Risk Working Party, Liability Underwriters Group, Non-Marine Claims Group, Professional Indemnity Forum, Property Treaty Group, Rehabilitation Working Party and Statistics Sub-Committee. 13.5.10: IUA 02-013: Claims Co-operation and Reporting Clause

Circular 048/10: IUA has published IUA 02-013: Claims Co-operation and Reporting Clause. This clause is the same as IUA 02-009, with the reference to a 50% or more disability rating removed.

26.3.10: End of the block exemption for standard policy conditions (model wordings)

Circular 032/10: The insurance Block Exemption Regulation has been renewed. Model wordings will no longer be covered by it, so companies may need to consider their self-assessment. Testing and acceptance of security devices will also no longer be covered. The existing block exemption regime will continue to provide protection until September 2010.
