The past ten years have seen a high degree of automation of the underwriting process for personal motor and household insurance. There has been substantially less automation of the commercial lines underwriting process. However, much of the same technology pioneered on the personal lines side, is now being introduced into a large part of the commercial market.

This presentation will discuss the technology that leading insurers are deploying to realise significant business benefits through automating the commercial lines underwriting process.
