18.9.09: Update on US Medicare reporting and registration

Circular 087/09: Members are experiencing great difficulties with the Medicare registration system. There are also likely to be insuperable problems in reporting the required claimant data. The September deadline is now said to be “soft”, but the IUA is requesting a six-month extension. We will also call for the requirements of the reporting and registration system to be accommodated to non-US insurers and reinsurers.
