The IUA’s Education and Training Committee is committed to
promoting an internationally recognised level of excellence in insurance
and reinsurance education and knowledge across the London Market. It
seeks to encourage good management principles and practice to be adopted
by member companies.
Together with the Corporation of London the IUA also sponsors a
London Market Language Exchange to encourage the study
of foreign languages among City professionals. The Language Exchange
maintains its own website at www.languageclubs.co.uk.
The CII (Chartered Insurance
Institute) has launched a new campaign called
Discover Risk, which aims to communicate the breadth of opportunity and
benefits that the insurance profession has to offer. The new website has
two addresses – www.discoverrisk.co.uk for learners, and www.discoverrisk.co.uk/iag for careers advisers.
